Jordie Ashley
Jordie Ashley started swing dancing in 2004 and explored ballroom, tap, jazz, ballet, and modern, before settling into blues and fusion as her primary focus. Playfulness and personal expression are values she aims to cultivate in her own dancing and on the floor when she DJs. Expect some Soul, Funk, and R&B full of opportunities for your groove to evolve into rich conversation with your partner.

Sonochrome
Sonochrome fuses music and light to craft immersive, synesthetic dance experiences. In 2014, deep in the Shakori Hills, DJ Darkstar discovered Dr. J, and the duo has been lighting up dance floors ever since. DJ Darkstar spins exotic beats and original mixes, while Dr. J transforms motion into light, making the entire room move with you. Step into the fantasyscape of Sonochrome – where sound and light become one.
This force of rhythm will light up the iris club friday night of red rose fusion! -
Brian Kurtz
As one of the OGs of the Lancaster fusion scene, Brian has been dancing and DJ'ing blues, swing, and blues fusion for over 12 years. His well-loved sets are a mix of traditional and modern music with a focus on groovy tunes that make people want to dance.
If you think these sunglasses are only a thing for this photo, you'd be wrong. Brian can be easily convinced to wear accessories on the dance floor. Feel free to make suggestions.

Jennifer Dandy
DJ^JD, aka Jen—a Philly local on a mission to create a vibe you can get delightfully lost in and connect in new, unexpected ways. Influenced by a diverse dance background, expect a blend of funky grooves, electronic textures, and melty moments. Don’t miss her set, and do ask her for a dance!

Benjamin Chou
The seeds of Ben's DJ style were planted in Philadelphia in the mid '00s when he joined friends at a nightclub whose DJ played a seamless variety of music from around the world. Already a social dancer in blues, lindy, and latin dances, he took the plunge into DJing at a New York house party in 2009 and hasn't looked back since, DJing regularly around the Mid-Atlantic, from Philly to NYC to DC to State College, with guest spots at the Las Vegas and Denver Fusion Exchanges and HiFi Fusion in Seattle.
He loves exploring new genres and styles of music and seeing dancers make new memories and connections.

Erin Blose
Erin fell in love with partner dancing in 2006 and was overjoyed to find the fusion dancing scene in 2010. She started DJing for her local scene in 2017, and now looks for old and familiar favorites to mix in with new and surprising gems.
Over the years she’s fallen in love with various dances, and now looks for surprising ways to incorporate all of those genres into exciting sets that feel both familiar and new. -
John Wong
John Wong comes from the dance world of Lindy Hop and Blues. Blues is his preferred dance as he loves its connection, simplicity, and freedom of expression, and he brings this mindset into Fusion dancing. In addition to dancing every chance he gets, he is also one of the regular DJs at the monthly blues dance and the monthly fusion dance in his home city of Toronto, Canada.
With every set, John aims to take dancers on a musical journey of varying intensities and styles, and let the music invite, propel, and challenge them to do amazing dances all night long.
-
Shelley Goldstein
Shelley started DJing in 2009 at the weekly swing and blues dance at a local pizza joint. Since then, she has traveled all over the country spinning tunes for major events like the Las Vegas Fusion Exchange and Om Fusion in Seattle.
Shelley likes to transform every venue into a house party, creating a safe container to bust out some Motown, soul, and beats that make you go “Unnh.”
-
Jules Diehl
Jules has been dancing for as long as she can remember and DJing since 2014. Her DJ style continues to bloom and considers the many different flavors that can be brought into fusion (tango, hip hop, contemporary, rhythm, zouk, etc).
You can expect a "Jules set" to include some oldies, lots of goodies, and a few new ventures to keep it fresh on the dance floor.

Bradley Sweimler
The sweet sound of blues and fusion music lured Brad’s ears to the dance floor, and eventually persuaded his whole body to stay.
Now a couple years into his DJ journey, Brad tends to gravitate toward slow, melty, micro-inspired music. He loves creating a space where people can connect to the music as well as to each other.
Brad plays the tunes he likes to groove to, so feel free to walk slowly by the DJ table and catch his eye for a dance. -

Alexander Herr
Alex started DJing for Indigo in 2014 and spent the next decade learning and growing his music collection and becoming a regular face at the DJ table. He later started directing the style and teaching others to help grow the scene. He still gets great joy from bringing classic songs to the current dance floor to vibe with new crowds of new faces.
